Donations
Like most orchestras, CHICO cannot rely on ticket sales alone to fund concerts. CHICO receives charitable donations from Season Sponsors ($10,000 +), Concert Sponsors ($5,000 +), Co-Sponsors ($2,500 +), First Chair Sponsors ($1,000 +), Player Sponsors ($500 +) and Friends ($100).
Fundraising
CHICO welcomes new fundraising ideas. Social events are powerful opportunities for music lovers to network and explore ideas for promoting music in the community. Fundraising events include soirees, galas, picnics and other events.
Volunteers
Come join a growing group of people who love classical music and enjoy supporting CHICO through their participation before and during each concert.
Affiliates
Affiliate relationships are essential to CHICO’s existence. The First United Methodist Church provides a home base for CHICO performances. The Ventura Unified School District launched the Peter & the Wolf program for 4th grade audiences. CHICO’s affiliate Channel Islands is supported by the Channel Islands Choral Association (CICA). California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) provides college credits, practice facilities and the director Dr. KuanFen Liu.
