Join CHICO musicians Patricia Lathrop McPherson, soprano, David Singer, clarinet, John Fare, cello, and Miriam Arichea, piano, for A Viennese Soirée featuring selections that premiered in Vienna and were performed in home chamber music concerts throughout Europe.
The first selection, Shepherd on the Rock, by Franz Schubert, highlights the talents of our soprano and clarinetist, who share and exchange the lyrical melody line. The Schubert is followed by Beethoven’s Opus 11 Trio for piano, clarinet, and cello – a bold and vivacious work with interplay between all three instruments.
