Ellie Sanders is a Ventura local and a recent graduate of the California Polytechnic University Music Department of San Luis Obispo. She has been privately coached by Ventura College’s very own Linda Ottsen, as well as world renowned opera singer, Jacalyn Krietzer. Ellie was extremely active in the Cal Poly’s Student Opera Theater with performances such as; Illia in Mozart’s Idomeneo, Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, and Sister Genovieve in Puccini’s Suor Angelica. Her most recent roles include; Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with Opera San Luis Obispo, as well as soprano soloist in Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem with the Cal Poly Symphony, as well as Gabriel in Haydn’s Creation with the Channel Islands Orchestra.. Ellie is currently working on a second bachelor’s degree in Language and Speech Pathology all the while singing whenever she can.
