David Campbell’s arrangement work appears on more than 475 gold or platinum albums, including 19 Grammy Albums of the Year (nominees or winners). His film work has earned 5 Oscar music nominations, winning 2 Oscars for music.
As an arranger, Campbell began a string of successes from the ’70s that has continued to the present, including recent #1s from Adele, Ariana Grande, Elton John, Harry Styles and Billie Eilish (with Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Philharmonic)
He co-composed with Pharrell Williams a 40 minute dance suite, commissioned & recorded by the Dallas Symphony, with Campbell conducting. He arranged and conducted music for both the 2000 and 2012 Olympic closing ceremonies.
