
Alexa Constantine begins our Young Artists Alumni Series by performing Etude, Op. 40, No. 1 “Prelude” by Nikolai Kapustin; “Someone to Watch Over Me” by George Gershwin, arranged by Joseph Turrin; “Mab, la reine des mensonges” from Romeo et Juliette by Charles Gounod; Impromptu, Op. 90, No. 2 by Franz Schubert. Alexa is currently a staff pianist at UCLA, AMDA, and Marymount High School, where she is also the orchestra teacher.In addition to working, Alexa is pursuing her Master’s in Music Business Administration at California State University, Northridge. Scott Quirk first performed with CHICO in February 2018. He currently studies flute with Jeffrey Khaner at The Juilliard School. Scott will be performing Syrinx by Claude Debussy, Bach Flute Partita-Allemande, Bach Flute Partita-Corrente, Bach Flute Partita-Sarabande, Bach Flute Partita-Bourrée Angloise, Andante Pastoral and Scherzettino by Taffanel. Scott also appeared on NPR’s From the Top radio show and has been named a Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist. Release date October 16. Click HERE to see his performance.

David Gatchel wraps up our Young Artists Alumni Series with a performance of – Piano Variations(1930) by Aaron Copland;- Ballade No. 3 in Ab Major op. 47 by Frederic Chopin. Currently, David is pursuing a Masters in Collaborative Piano at Arizona State University with Russell Ryan. David hopes to create a diverse career as a vocal pianist, chamber musician and soloist.
