Delores received the BME degree from Northwestern University in 1964 and moved to Ventura County, where she taught instrumental music in Oxnard and Port Hueneme until 2003. She joined Ventura County Symphony in 1964, where she played until 1995. She has held positions in Santa Barbara Symphony, Santa Maria Philharmonic, Channel Islands Symphony, Ventura Piano Quintet, Ventura College Symphony, Ventura County Master Chorale and Pacific Shores Philharmonic. She has been a member of CHICO since it was founded in 2003.
