Paula grew up in the Chicago area, gradually moving west until settling in the Los Angeles area in 1981. She was principal oboe in the Santa Maria Symphony, then the Santa Maria Philharmonic from 1992 to 2015, solo English Horn in the Bakersfield Symphony from 2002-present, and a member of the Channel Islands Symphony and CHICO since 1996.
